- Type: Restauration - Reconversion
- In association with: Bruno Heuleu, Laurenz Vander Linden

Between 1935 en 2009, this land house was the district court and now it will be transformed to a restaurant with a guesthouse. Once it was build by the industrial Van Duyse who was married with the family Blanchaert, a famous Flemish family known as the driving force of the neogothic movement. Van Duyse produced different kinds of products made from cork: isolation of floors, ceilings, walls,… Given the relationship with the neogothics, the house is richly decorated with wallpaintings, ceramics, woodcarving, glass painting,… - especially the ground floor. The challenge is keeping and at the same time even upgrading the original and historical interior.
