About this project

Architecture is an important link in the didactic evolution from receptive knowledge transfer toward more interactive learning with individual trajectories, where the teacher becomes a coach who inspires students.

In primary education, three classrooms for each grade are organized around a shared multipurpose space. In secondary education, new classrooms are connected to previously underused circulation areas. The corridors are transformed into learning streets where students can both work and relax. Maximum occupancy and use are key principles.

The new sports hall is connected to the other sports and multipurpose spaces, allowing them to be used either together or separately. A separate entrance and the ability to close off certain areas make partial use possible. In this way, the hall can be used by local sports clubs outside school hours, classrooms can be rented as meeting rooms, and specialized spaces such as a fablab can be opened as laboratories after hours. The result is an open school that interacts closely with village life.
