In the Saint Martin’s Church in Oombergen, a restoration of the exterior and a reconstruction of the Art Deco interior are planned. The works will begin in 2024 with the exterior restoration and the conversion of the north sacristy into a new reception building. The reception area will include sanitary facilities and an elevator to bridge the level difference between the church and its surroundings. In addition to serving as a place of contemplation, the church will also be used by the village school and for other community purposes. The church is once again becoming a village house.
